What information we collect.

For clients we collect information from you using online forms, email, telephone and face-to-face conversations to provide quotations for work, to carry out said work and then for billing purposes. Some examples of the information we collect are:

For prospective employee's we collect limited information from you through our online application form to make a preliminary short list of candidates for interview. At interview we will collect further information from you to process employment offers if successful at interview and to monitor our equal opportunities policy.

We collect usage data from our website through Google Analytic's. More information is available on this further on in this privacy policy.

We do not collect, process or store financial information of client's ourselves and instead rely on our secure provider "iZettle" for this. More information on iZettle and how they store your information is provided further on in this privacy policy.

How long do we keep your personal data.

We keep the personal data of clients for up to 10 years after the end of our relationship with a client. This is normally based on the "end of contract" date however we reserve the right to extend this period if for example there is an ongoing legal dispute, delay in payment etc.

We review the personal data we have annually, disposing of any information we no longer require.

Digital data is permanently deleted. Non-digital data is shredded before being disposed of.

While we delete personal data, we do not delete statistical information and records of historical work we have completed (with personal data excluded). This is due to both this information being a valuable tool for our business as well as the requirements we have from Companies House, HMRC and our insurers.

You can exercise these rights by emailing us at accounts@impactlaundryandcleaning.com we can then discuss with you the information you require, wish to have corrected or deleted as well as carry out an identity check in order to ensure we do not provide or delete somebody else's information.

If you have requested a copy of the personal data we hold then we will supply this to you at no cost within one month. Further requests within 12 months of the first request will incur and administrative fee.

While we would endeavour to provide the information held on the date of the request, especially in the case of clients with ongoing contracts, the information provided may have changed slightly since the initial request however we would never make an amendment or deletion to avoid disclosure.

We are unable to provide data that may identify another person other than yourself.

We are unable to delete data that we have a legal obligation to retain, for example in the event of an ongoing legal dispute or for historic record keeping such as VAT returns.
